During Soccer season of 2021 I started running a box lens camera for Jeff Watts Productions on their Remi production of SMU Soccer, after a number of games with the team I had the opportunity to step into the directors chair and direct a few Remi ESPN+ soccer matches. This lead to the opportunity to direct some ESPN+ SMU Men’s Basketball games.
On the other side of things and at the same time I got involved with the in house SMU crew, with that crew I also started off running handheld camera for the team during an SMU Football broadcast, but soon ended up directing a number of the SMU Women’s Basketball in house broadcasts. I have also directed SMU ESPN+ WBB for SMU’s Mustang Vision.
Fall 2020 - Present
After the making the decision to stay at UNT for my Masters program I joined the Mean Green Productions team under the leadership of Zac Powell. At MGP I have ran camera, learned how to run the ESPN Xpression GFX pkg, and directed a number of North Texas Athletics events.

September 2020 - Present
After working with Ken Jones at the Texas Legends I was brought in to fill the role of Director Spotter over at FC Dallas, this was a very fun position and helped me understand more about the production side of things in the world of COVID-19. Currently, I will be entering my third season at FC Dallas in this role.
November 2019 - Present
For the 2019-2020 Season, I was lucky enough to work as a Time Out Coordinator for the broadcast team. Doing this job was extremely rewarding as I got to work with a wonderful team of professionals.
After the season the Texas Legends took off due to COVID-19, I rejoined the production team as a camera operator / GFX fill in, working most of the 2021-2022 home games.
January 2019 - December 2021
After working in Operations, I wanted to expand my horizons and work with different management skills. My first job in the ntTV News Department was as Assistant News Director. While holding this job I was in charge of managing and scheduling the over 100 crew members on the 10 different newscasts, along with working with reporters and anchors on editing.
In Fall 2019, I took on the job of News Director, so far I have been involved in the planning and managing of special live news broadcasts, scheduling and managing crews, along with content creation with the Assistant News Director Victoria Lara for our anchors/reporters.
For the Spring Semester of 2020 going into Summer I served as the Special Projects and Development Manager at ntTV. This was a multi facetted position that incorporated responsibilities from across the TV station and the news department. My Chief task was to plan and execute special productions including a new political show called meeting of the minds, the Super Tuesday 2020 election special, live on location productions and others. I was also in charge of managing ntTV staff obligations for the station. Once the COVID-19 Pandemic struck my job transitioned into helping the news department begin to work in a remote capacity while providing quality content and news to our viewers.
After Spring of 2020, I moved back into the role of News Director as I entered my first semester of graduate school. I maintained this position until Fall of 2021 when I moved into another new position, Assistant Station Manager to Phyllis Slocum. In my final position at North Texas Television, I was in charge of coordinating special broadcasts, furthering outside connections with the tv station, and lastly setting and improving staff planning and cooperation.
January 2020 - May 2020
Production Intern
Main responsibilities: Shadow the APC Operators and their Assists, while they worked on either the NBC 5, or Telemundo 39 Newscasts. Assist regularly the APC ops running the robotic camera systems, along with once directing an hour-long unscripted panel on the census for Telemundo 39’s online platforms. Along with step up to help out when asked. Sadly, this Internship was cut short do to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
High School Football Season 2019
Just in time for High School football season I was offered a wonderful opportunity to work as a Photographer for the Texas High School football coverage on Fridays. During this job I worked with a reporter to cover a game, I gathered highlights, and shot reporter standups.
July 2017 - Dec 2018
After Volunteering with ntTV for two semesters I was offered the position of Assistant Operations Coordinator in the Operations Department. After starting in July 2017, my job duties had me in charge of programming the on air content, managing the equipment for checkouts, and being the technical help for any Newscasts or shows that needed it. I helped the Studio Engineer with set construction and replacing the studio lights with new LED lights, and building the new News Desk.
At the end of 2017 I was promoted to Operations Manager which holds primarily the same duties, in addition to helping plan out technical aspects on live shows such as the 2018 midterm election show. I also oversaw the expansion of live capabilities.
Fall 2016 - Present
After coming to UNT in the fall of 2016 I have been involved with North Texas Television, the student run on-campus television station. After starting off as a Lead Editor on the Nightly News cast, I have thus far held the positions of VTR operator, Camera Operator, Segment Anchor, Technical Director, Noon Director and Nightly Director.

My career goal is to get to a point where I can do a little bit of everything, and still get to have some vacation time
Demo Reels

This demo reel is the culmination of my sports directing work up until April 2021. This is not all the directing I have done, but this is the best of the work that I currently have. This reel includes, ntTV’s Mean Green Gameday, UNT vs Charlotte, and a sequence from a freelance job I worked in Nashville.
In addition, to these clips I have directed Volleyball, and my favorite sport basketball. Although this is a directors reel, I love all positions on sports crews and have worked many of them, including but not limited to, Ross Xpression GFX with ESPN’s 2021 pkg, Audio, Master Control, Camera shoulder and Tripod, Grip / Utility, and Time Out Coordinator.

This is my Student Emmy nominated news directing reel, containing behind the scenes footage from ntTV’s Super Tuesday 2020 Election Coverage, Our State Fair of Texas Show, and an A-Block from a regular ntTV Nightly newscast.
The fact that I am very proud to say is on the Election Show and the State Fair show, over 60 people worked on each show and as director and news director I was in charge of the planning and preparation for both major shows!
